At GoaDriver.com, our drivers are the face of our service. This Driver Policy outlines the rules, responsibilities, and professional standards expected from every driver associated with us. Compliance with this policy is mandatory.
1. Eligibility & Verification
- All drivers must hold a valid driving license for the vehicle type they operate.
- Drivers must undergo background verification, including identity checks, address proof, and criminal record clearance.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
- Drivers must be physically fit and mentally alert to perform their duties safely.
2. Professional Conduct
- Drivers must always be polite, respectful, and courteous to customers.
- Abusive language, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- Drivers must not discriminate against passengers based on gender, religion, nationality, or background.
- Smoking, chewing tobacco, or consuming alcohol while on duty is strictly prohibited.
3. Duty & Responsibilities
- Drivers must arrive on time for all assignments.
- The vehicle must be driven safely, responsibly, and in compliance with traffic laws.
- Drivers must keep the customer’s safety and comfort as their top priority.
- Any issues with the customer’s vehicle (if chauffeur service) should be reported immediately.
- Drivers are not allowed to use the vehicle for personal purposes while on duty.
4. Appearance & Hygiene
- Drivers must wear clean, presentable clothing.
- Personal hygiene must be maintained at all times.
- A neat and professional appearance builds customer trust.
5. Safety Standards
- Strictly follow all traffic rules and regulations.
- Avoid rash driving, overspeeding, or use of mobile phones while driving.
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
- Never drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances.
6. Confidentiality & Trust
- Customer details (name, address, trip details) must be kept confidential.
- Drivers are strictly prohibited from sharing customer information with third parties.
- Lost items must be reported immediately and returned through the company.
7. Payment & Compliance
- Drivers will receive payments as per company policy (daily/weekly/contract basis).
- Any misuse of company systems, fraud, or false reporting will lead to suspension or termination.
8. Disciplinary Action
- Violation of this policy may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from GoaDriver.com.
- Serious violations (drunk driving, misconduct, theft, harassment) will result in immediate termination and may involve legal action.
